The meeting show dedicated to the commercial brand

Design Center Bologna participates also this year at the Marca fair, January 20th and 21st.
Marca is a meeting show dedicated to the commercial brand, which constitutes a meeting point between the industrial world and the distributing factories where the retailer and the brand industries develop business.

Who is this adressed to:
Exhibitors - Food Producers, IV Producers and V gamma, Non Food Producers, Packaging companies, research workers, services for logistics companies, marketing companies, specialized press.
Visitors - Industrial enterprises (Alimentary and beverage, house care, persone care, packaging, graphic), National and International purchase centrals, wholesalers, detail commerce, working businesses in Ho.Re.Ca., Representative agencies (publicity, promotion, marketing, packaging, multimedia centers, press, market research, professional studies), public entities, institutes of National, Regional, and Local representation and some institutes of representation at universities and research centers.

All the activities proposed by the center at the fair, are realized in collaboration with the Istituto Italiano Imballaggio (Italian Packaging Institute) and inted to show the same institute the significante and effectivenesss of Marca under the planning profile since the same associates praise characteristics very much similar to those of the exhibitors already present.

The Design Center Bologna pre-arranged to develop innovative concept solutions at the space it reserved for the present exhibitors of Marca, by making use of consolidated responsibilities and contents of high conceptual quality.
The center of the project is based on the research of solutions and projects the can stimulate companies once the fair is over. Therefore, the Design Center Bologna has idenfied three fundamental aspects corresponding respectively to the three areas of the stand:

Workshop Area
The space dedicated to the activities of concept design, in which the students of the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna will develop, in direct order and request of the present exhibitors and stakeholders at Marca, solutions for innovative and effective concept.

Meeting Area
The space dedicated to the encounter between operators and exhibitors interested in a more profound relation with the Design Center to analize the potential and innovations the sector can offer.
The area meeting is also destined to the development of brief interviews with the different commercial brand managers and the stakeholders at the fair. Such interviews form part of the research project destined to monitor the role of packaging as identification value of brands and its positions, and also through trial hypothesis (well compressed the reference to sustainability and accessibility). The interviews will be conducted by Marco Sachet (Director of the Istituto Italiano Imballaggio) and Carlo Branzaglia (Manager of the Design Center Bologna).

Exhibition Area
The exhibition area will be dedicated to the exhibition of the winners of the 52th edition of the Packaging Oscar, a prestigious award given annualy by the Istituto Italiano Imballaggio (Italian Packaging Institute).
